Week One

The first week is in the books and what a week it has been. I can't wait to tell the boys about how they broke their Mom's back when they were born. Something happened during the delivery that caused me to be unable to move at all without pain the first few days. I am slowly getting better but still cannot walk normally or lift anything. Kyle has had to step up and be Superman because I'm far from able to help with the physical demands right now. I'm also so grateful for our great family members who have helped out tremendously. The two Grandmas have had to do a lot more than coo and smile at the boys - they've been doing everything under the sun to help.

Colin came home with us on Friday afternoon. Jake is expected to come home this weekend if he continues to put on weight as quickly as he has so far. He is quite tough for such a little guy and keeps exceeding the doctor's expectations.

Scout has been great with Colin. He is contsantly looking at him and sleeping by his side. It is really cute. He is very curious and gentle. We can't wait to see what he does when another one shows up!
