Jake Update

Got great news on Jake today. I went down for his 2:00 feeding today and found out his feeding tube that was running through his nose and directly to his stomach came out last night. We haven't had to use it for the last few days because he has moved to bottle and breast feeding, but they had kept it in just in case it didn't take. Other than the temperature and heart monitor that clip to his foot, he is wire free!

The best news is that he is out of the isolette and into a crib. As long as he can show to the nurses and doctors that he can maintain his temperature and continure to put on weight, we can begin to talk about coming home.
